What a book! This is a republication of the same book Weisel wrote many years ago chronicling his time in concentration camps.

It is very hard to put all the emotions you feel as you read the book into words, but you feel as though you are right there with Weisel. He is a Jewish teen who is sent to a concentration camp along with his family. He is separated from his mother and sisters. He loses his father. He has to struggle with the protecting and loving his father and survival. He witnesses acts of brutality and violence and turns his head because he knows he will stay alive that way. 

Night is a very short, very easy read but a book that will have you tearing up and feeling as helpless as Elie did. I cannot recommend this book enough, I think it is a must read for everyone.
