I am going to start off by saying how much I have enjoyed the 100+ degree weather! I know I am in the minority on this, but I wish everyday could be this warm!!!
We have had such a great weekend. We all took a three day weekend to meet Grandpa and Grandma Hopkins, Konner, Kyle, Jen and Konner's friend Jake in Seattle. We started as early Friday morning as we could and only made it to Longview before we had to stop at Target to get a Dora DVD. Dora has made it possible to get Presley in the car without screaming and we didn't remember to bring one with us. But after that, peace and quiet! Since Presley has new found love of fishies. We decided to head to the Seattle Aquarium. We had a blast! Her favorite turned out to be the starfish, because she could touch them, but the clown fish and baby salmon weren't far behind!
After the Aquarium, we FINALLY got a chance to meet Kendall for the very first time. Heids- she is beautiful and such a sweetheart, unlike our train wreck who decided not to nap that day! We were able to enjoy some good conversation catching up with Heidi.
Konner, Dad and I started Saturday bright and early with the Tacoma Narrows Half Marathon. Yes, we did another one! My time was 6 minutes slower but there a few good sized hills.
After a shower and a little bit of down time, we got to Pyramid Alehouse for some quick lunch and a beer. Then- the Kenny Chesney concert. We got awesome seats and saw 5 great bands play. It was a lot of fun and Presley survived very well! It went from 4-11pm. We had a great time and finally got to meet Kyle's new girlfriend Jen. Good luck, Jen!
We finished the night with a stop at Cheesecake Factory for some yummy dessert!
This morning we loaded up and had breakfast and said our goodbyes.
We headed towards Grandpa and Grandma Weatherley's where we played a bit, picked up Titus and enjoyed dinner.
Now it is back to the routine of getting ready for another week!
At the concert with Grandma Hopkins.
On the carousel with Mommy, she only lasted two rotations before she signed all done and wanted Mommy to hold her.
Posing in the Octopus picture.
Checking out the otter with Mommy.
Checking out the wall of fishies with Daddy, it was a little overwhelming at first.
