Merry Christmas or "The Gauntlet"

The Gauntlet is what Jay likes to call our quick 24 hour trip across the state and back home. We spend a lot of time in the car but to be able to see and celebrate with both sides of the family is priceless. This year, Grandma and Papa H. asked to maximize time with the kids and took them to Yakima on Tuesday and we met up with them on Christmas Eve. It was amazing to be able to jump in the car, go shopping, clean the house and sleep through the night. Thanks Mom and Dad! I also snuck in a girls day! How fun to be able to shop, eat, drink and laugh with my favorite ladies! We need more of those days!

We had a wonderful Christmas weekend, everyone got oh so spoiled by Santa and both sets of Grandparents. To prove it, our home now looks like Toys R Us exploded inside! I may have to sell my dining room furniture to be able to expand the play room! But, after seeing the eyes light up, it is worth the chaos!

Here are the pictures from our Christmas Weekend!
