DONE being sick!

How did Jay manage not to get sick? After I got sick and started to feel better, Presley picked up a little baby cold. No big deal, right? Wrong! A runny nose and congestion quickly turned in to our first ear infection :( No fun! She is on ten days of antibiotics, ear numbing drops and whatever Tylenol she needs. The good news, we are so close to sleeping through the night! It has only almost taken a full year!

Presley is doing so well with all the big girl foods. She is snacking on just about anything including salsa and chili! She certainly takes after mom and dad. She is also walking all the time. She can say shoe, suck, sock and this. She loves to scream and shake her head 'NO'! She doesn't seem to want to say up when she wants up, she just hangs on our pant legs and cries.

We are working on planning the first birthday. It looks like beer and burgers here at home. I am going to attempt a new cake. I am going back and forth between red velvet or a banana cake. We shall see.
